PHASE - I: (2000 - 2005)
  1. Publication of reports (TEDO compiled Exportable technologies in identified    4 – sectors like Indian System of Medicine, Agro and Food Processing, Light Engineering and Chemical and Pharmaceuticals and distributed these reports to embassies and CII overseas offices, Trade offices and exhibits in overseas exhibition)
  2. Participation in Indian/ International trade-fairs
  3. Printing and promoting technology profiles
  4. Promotion thru TEDO website (www.techbizindia.com)
  5. Promoting Indian Technology Companies thru TEDO Interactive Meetings and Colloquiums.
  6. TEDO has also signed an MOU with Kyiev Institute, Ukraine for mutual Technology Transfer.
  7. TEDO worked with associations like TAGMA to identify the requirements of industry for enhancing technology exports.
  8. TEDO got involved with various companies and research institutes to prepare technology marketing kits.
PHASE - II: (2005 - 2007)

In second phase TEDO (managed by CII) operated its functions in two clusters Process Plant and Machinery and Tooling Cluster. For delivering its portfolio of services, TEDO follows an approach of serving a group of industries through, Unit level assessment for export readiness, Developing of company brochure for the group participation in international forums, Providing company details on TEDO website, Company Assessment for Readiness for Exports, Handholding for improvement of manufacturing facilities vis-à-vis Quality, Environment, Housekeeping, MIS etc., Developing a sustainable export marketing strategy, Supporting companies for reaching out to the targeted export markets by participating in international exhibitions.

TEDO has developed a model of closely working with its sector consultants to take-up these issues and handhold industries for up gradation and export development.

PHASE - III: (2007 - 2010)

TEDO provides advisory services to the producers of technology SMEs in the identified sectors, and others who need business guidance in beginning their export practices. TEDO also supports towards capacity building for SMEs to become a starting point for them to find and develop international markets.
