About Tedo

The Technology Export Development Organisation (TEDO) project is a Joint Initiative of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Commerce & Industry with CBI the Netherlands as a knowledge partner. The main objective of TEDO is to promote Indian technologies (Technical Know-how/Technology Intensive Products, Services & Projects).
TEDO supports in terms of Capability Building to Enhance Export Competitiveness and promoting the SMEs strengths in the international market through Capacity Building, Participation in National & International trade-fairs, promoting Indian technology through TEDO Interactive Meetings and colloquiums, Reports on Exportable technologies/ technology intensive products /projects and services from India and promotion through the TEDO website. 
The history of Technology Export Development Organisation (TEDO) can be broadly divided into 3 Phases. The TEDO Project began its operations in 2000.
TEDO offers an opportunity for Consultants to help/hand-hold the SMEs in their capability building and access to export markets & provide various kinds of Consultancy services offered by TEDO.
TEDO offers various kinds of Services like Consultancy Services, Training Services & Export Management.
The various Partners involved in the TEDO Project are Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Tamil Nadu Technology Development & Promotion Center (TNTDPC), Andhra Pradesh Technology Development & Promotion Center (APTDC), Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Commerce & Industry (MoC&I) & Centre for Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries (CBI).
